The children are off school this week which means that there are petting farms all over the place. I came across one yesterday at our local shopping centre and couldn’t resist taking lots of photos, pushing the children out of the way of course, so I could get my shots 😉
This was by far my favourite with more than half a dozen very cute lambs and kid goats all curled up together asleep (don’t count them, I only drew a few!). My plan is to attempt a painting – the alpaca was such a success last week I think I might have another go at woolly coats – but I decided to sketch first and spend a bit more time at the planning stage following the difficulties I had with the lotus blossom. Hopefully I can get things in the right order if I put in a little more effort at this stage.
